Rachel had to go to Rexburg, so GG came to help with the kids today. She took them to Carls Jr. for food and play. McKenzie (friend from H.S.) came to visit with her adorable kiddos. She brought me a head massager and a Snickers, yum! That chocolate totally hit the spot. A little later, my awesome cousin, Allison, came to visit with her little girl, Raegan. We chatted a lot, then she took me to get Hawaiian Shave Ice, and a burrito, lol. How awesome to have so many visitors. :)

24w6d - Reid came last night!! It felt so great to be reunited as a family. The boys were so happy to see him. Rhett ran up to him and jumped in his arms yelling DADDY!! Reid and I stayed up late chatting and giggling and talking about when we were first dating. We laughed so hard. I just love him so much. He's the best for me.
This morning my dad made delicious waffles for us. Then we decided to take the boys to see How to Train Your Dragon 2 at the movie theater - to celebrate Jack's birthday early while Reid's here. We had so much fun all together as a family again. I was just in heaven. We let Jack pick lunch, and he chose Panda Express.
| Lol. I was trying to take a pic of a deer in my parent's neighborhood, but took a pic of us instead. |
After a nice nap, Reid and I met up with Danaan & Heather, and Patrick & Skylar for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. It's Dane's birthday, so we let him choose. :) Dane & I shared a full rack of ribs. They were so delicious! They had him sit on a saddle and got everyone's attention to say "Yee-haw!" He told them his name was Jacob, lol.
After dinner we went to see Les Miserables at the Scera Shell Outdoor Theater. We have borrowed a wheelchair for me to use, so Reid wheeled me through the parking lot and while we waited in line. I felt super silly, but am glad I can get out, so don't care too much. The musical was awesome! The talent was superb and we sat on the very front row.
It's been so recharging for our family to have Reid here. I think it'll help us survive a few more weeks. I sure love him!

I can't say I know how you feel cause the situations are different, but I feel for ya with being away from your hubby. When we moved from Casper Danen had to start his job the first of September. We hadn't found ANYWHERE to live yet and the kids and I ended up staying in Casper until 2 days before Christmas when we were finally able to move down there with him. He was only able to come home every few weeks, for a quick weekend visit. It was a long lonely time without him, so I'm happy to hear when Reid gets to come visit you and you guys can be all together for a little while.
