Family Dispersion

7/26/14 - Saturday

Rachel left on a trip with Jordon's family to Canada for 10 days, so on Thursday, 7/24/14, Mom & Dad drove the boys up to Idaho to stay with the Turners (Reid's sister's fam).  I miss them already.  I had a few toys sent up to the Turner's house for Jack for his birthday today and I called him this morning.  He seemed to be having a fun time.  It feels weird to have Reid in Wyoming, me in Utah, and the boys in Idaho.  What a crazy life we're living now.   I would never have guessed this is what our summer would be like.

Yesterday, I used my new found freedom to drive to the Jackman's house to see Julie!  She came up from Houston, TX for Sherri's wedding.  Brad and Vicki came in and chatted for awhile too.  I sure love them.  Vicki made us yummy sandwiches for lunch, just like the old days with Miracle Whip.  Always Miracle Whip.  Jules and I ended up chatting for hours!  It was so great to catch up.  Wish I had taken a pic.  It was so fun to see her three beautiful little girls too.

I went to Mom's house afterward to get some of my things together, since I'm staying at Megan's for the weekend (Mom & Dad were out of town for the weekend).   Patrick was awesome and brought up dinner for the two of us - yummy BBQ chicken pizza and breadsticks from Pizza Factory (thanks Skylar!).   We hung out for a couple hours before I headed back up to Sandy.

Today Megan's family was planning to go to 7 Peaks, so I went down to Alpine to visit family.  I stopped by my cousin John & Ashley's and hung out for a couple hours, then went over to Grandma & Grandpa Clarke's new house.  Grandpa was still working at the temple, so I got to chat with Grandma for awhile.  She's a lovely, happy woman.  I love her so much.  When Grandpa got home, they took me out to dinner at the Blue Lemon.  It was a fun date!  I even got them to take a selfie with me.

26 weeks.  Wow, this pregnancy is really going by slow!  I feel like I've been pregnant for years!  Lol.  Probably because I've had so much time to think about it, and it's at the forefront of my mind all the time, when during my other pregnancies I've been able to carry on with my normal life, and been taking care of my energetic boys.
I went to Sacrament Meeting with Megan's family.  I figured I could handle it if I didn't do much to get ready.  I did put some deodorant on and brushed my hair and my teeth.  :)

My sister-in-law, Emily, called and we chatted for a good while, after I took a nice long afternoon snooze.

I'm really missing Reid tonight. :(  I don't like going to bed alone.  I miss him a lot.  I am feeling a little discouraged with everything.  He helps to ground me, and reminds me to cheer up.

7/28/14 - Monday
My friend, Meredith, came to visit!  They currently live in Seattle, and are here visiting family.  We originally met soon after we were
married in Provo, UT in our BYU ward.  Then they moved up to Hillsboro, OR to work for Intel.  Soon after, Reid got a job at Intel up there too.  We ended up in the same ward as them again!  After awhile, they decided to go build a house in another part of town and moved.  We followed them yet again, and bought their house when they decided to move to go to graduate school.  (Aaron & Reid were also in the same BYU Freshman ward years before we were married, funny huh?)
