Getting out!

7/17/14 - Thursday 

Kristy came to visit with her boys.  It was so fun to see them.  She lives in Florida, but is here visiting family.  (We met in Oregon).  Her baby Roman is freaking adorable!  He let me hold him and just giggled when I snuggled him.  It was cool to hold a little baby.  Makes me excited to see Sara.   

 

I finally got to get out!  Alison & Newsome (buddies from H.S.) came and picked me up to go to dinner.  We went to Café Rio.  They helped me take it easy, since I'm technically still on bed rest, and dropped me off at the front, then we picked a table just inside the door.  They went through the line and ordered my food for me.  We had a blast talking and reminiscing.  We stayed until they were closing.  When we got outside, we smelled the yummy frozen yogurt place next door and had to indulge.  We ate inside there, until they were closing.  Lol.  On the way home we were laughing so hard we were crying just remembering funny stories from when we were in high school & college.  It was such good therapy for me!  (Too bad I didn't get any pics!)
