We celebrated Reid's birthday this week. We broke out the Star Wars table cover and the boys insisted that we leave up the Happy Birthday sign and streamers from Rhett's birthday a couple weeks ago, so we had those too. I made chicken broccoli casserole, one of his favorites, and a chocolate Oreo pie. The boys picked out a stuffed monster toy for him and some Werther's Original candies. We also gave him a new monitor (so now he has dual monitors set up for the new computer he built), a nice set of drill bits, and a hoodie. It was a low-key party, just how he likes it.
Side note: On weekdays you can usually find him wearing one of these amazing orange safety shirts from work. Occasionally, if I'm lucky, it'll be a navy blue one. Can you tell I'm a fan?
