Mason Baby #5 is on the way!

It's true. #5 is on the way!  We are excited! (and maybe a little crazy).  Reid and I have both hoped for a big family, and thankfully, it is working out. :)  I really loved growing up in a family of 5 kids.  I love my siblings dearly, and can't imagine life without any one of them.  I hope our kids feel the same someday.

I'm due 11/2/2014.  So, about 11 weeks along now.  I had an ultrasound on 3/31 and was able to see our little nugget and see/hear the heartbeat.  We are so grateful that everything looks good to far.

I've been feeling awfully nauseous and tired for the last month, but have been able to keep up with the (minimum) necessities of everyone at home.  Everyone gets fed and gets to school, practice, games, lessons, etc.  I'm pretty much in survival mode though, and our poor house shows it.  Luckily, I usually get a short nap in the afternoon during that precious moment when Connor is at preschool and Rhett is napping.  Naps save me.  If you show up at our house unannounced, be prepared to find me in my jammies, and the house a wreck.  :D  You've been warned.

I'm REALLY anxious to find out the gender.  I think I'll freak out either way.  5 BOYS! or our 1st GIRL.  Can't wait to find out!

We told the kids the day we had the ultrasound.  I set out baby bottles for everyone, instead of cups, with dinner.  The kids thought it was super silly.  Rhett and Connor loved using them, Clark and Jack were frustrated that their drinks didn't come out fast enough.  Haha. When we told them why we had bottles for dinner, they were super excited.  They are excited to have another BROTHER.  Not as excited for a sister.

Having babies at this stage of life is such a different experience than when we first started.  Clark and Jack are awesome helpers with Rhett and Connor, so I'm sure they'll be great with the baby too.  Connor will be in all-day Kindergarten when the baby comes, so it'll just be Rhett and the baby home with me during the day.  So different than when I had 3 little ones at home, all dependent on me.

Here's the pic of our nugget at 9 weeks.
