The Van

Model: 2006 Honda Odyssey EX 

Mileage: 41,000

Color: Midnight Blue Pearl (sounds exotic right?)

-         We debated for several days over what color of leather to put in our van.  (We got some add-ons worked into our deal with the dealership).  I must admit, I'm quite excited to have brand new leather that hasn't been tainted by anyone's rear-end, or kid's vomit.  Reid was fancying the sporty two-tone, contrasting stitching options.  I had to keep reminding him that we got a mini-van, not a sports car.  The debates we had were quite humorous.  After getting a ring of a zillion leather swatches we could choose from, and looking at all kinds of photos online, we ended up going with the factory match after all.  Haha.  We should be getting that installed this week w/ the heated seats & a DVD system.  

-         When we brought home the van for the first time, Clark said, "This one isn't actually that nice."  At first I was shocked at what a bratty remark that was.  Then, I quickly recognized his 5-year old thought process, and said "Don't worry, we're getting a DVD player put in."  He let out a huge sigh of relief.  So, hopefully the van will have the boys' stamp of approval once that gets installed.
