Someone's Thirty-one

- I made my first homemade Banana Cream Pie.  Reid requested it for his birthday, and I delivered.  He made sure to clarify that he wanted actual bananas in it, not just a banana flavored pudding pie.  Good call, Reid.

- This past weekend we went out to celebrate Reid's birthday.  We had such a fun time!  Back in October I bought tickets for us to see Brian Regan live on Jan. 28th.  I kept it a secret, and didn't tell Reid until his birthday.  We ate yummy Thai food, then road the Max downtown to the show.  Brian Regan is one hilarious human being.  He had us laughing the whole time!  Gotta love a comedian that doesn't rely on dirty jokes.  We walked down to Morton's Steakhouse for dessert.  The Key Lime Pie is fantastic!  We had it once before, and had been dying to get back there.  The ride back home at midnight on the Max was definitely entertaining.  To say I felt a little out of place is an understatement.  I’m glad I wasn’t alone....

- The boys got Reid a Star Wars Lego set for his birthday.  It came with a bunch little Star Wars characters.  Reid is in heaven.  Legos totally bring out the little boy in him, and many awesome sound effects.

- I love this man to the moon & back.

- Seriously, I do.

  1. Happy Birthday Reid! That sounds like a great birthday. We need to see Brian Reagan one of these days. Matt got legos for Christmas, as well as both kids. Gotta love 'em!

  2. Happy Birthday Reid! I'll have to keep legos in mind for Jake this year. All 3 of my boys would love that. ;)
