I sit down to pay a bill [or insert any other responsible housekeeping activity here] on the computer. While I'm gathering the info I need to perform said task, I realize I need to adjust my Netflix queue before the next DVD gets sent to us, because that would be a disaster! While on Netflix, I see a movie that looks particularly interesting, I click to read the description, I search for the trailer, I hear a song that I like, I look up the soundtrack, I get lost in my unquenchable thirst for music junky-ness.......
Wait, what was I doing? What did I come in here for?
Oh ya to pay that silly water bill.
And so it goes.
Actually, this happens a lot when I sit down to blog. And is the reason a lot of posts I start don't ever get published. Including this post that I started on March 12th.
