What I was doing 10 years ago:
I was 16, enjoying highschool in all its glory - dating, driving, and hanging with friends.
I opened up my old journal just for fun and here are some things I found (not in any particular order).
10 years ago I had a job at Lindon Spring Farms (candle manufacturer) doing bookkeeping.
I played on the tennis team, and loved to snow ski.
I bought Silver brand jeans, and Dr. Marten sandles.
I went to Hawaii with 6 of my girlfriends for 17 days - best vacation ever!
I had my first kiss.
I went with my friends to any and every dance that we heard about.
I saw the Backstreet Boys in concert. (i know you're jealous)
I spent the summer jumping into Diversion Dam.
I got to talk & shake hands with President Monson at my uncle B's wedding reception, something I will never forget.
5 Things on my to do list today:
Clothe my children.
Feed my children.
Sign papers at 24 Hr Fitness (Saying goodbye to exercising outside, it's too cold and dark in the morning!)
Grocery Shop.
Have a dance party with my boys in our living room.
5 Things on my lifelong to do list:
Attend a Grand Slam tennis match
Travel in Europe
Serve missions with my sweetheart
Make my family happy
Write a song for the piano

Mint Milano cookies (Pepperidge Farms)
Peanut Butter Moo'd Jamba
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard (made w/ chocolate ice cream)

ReplyDeleteawesome. I especially loved the reminder of Dr. Martin sandals (ummm...had a pair myself) only $100 and weighed 100 lbs on your feet! gotta love em!
