The Shelves

I have to start by giving props to Tara for this great idea. Ever since I saw her shelves set up like this in her house, I have dreamed of doing the same thing. Well...I finally bought some shelves with Christmas money in JANUARY. They had been sitting in my living room leaning against the wall in their packaging until a couple angels came to visit in MAY. Reid's mom & sister Shauna helped me put them up (anchored to the wall and everything). Shauna did a fantastic job with the level, I might add. They had to leave before we could decorate them, so I wanted to show them the finished product here. I really love how they turned out. It makes our home look a bit more put together, instead of the "we just moved in" blank walls.

They also helped me pick out this awesome ladder book shelf - not decorated how I want yet...maybe I'll get to that in NOVEMBER.
