Funny how things change.

I never thought I'd be one of those bloggers that drops off the face of the planet, yet here I am, in outer space somewhere....

I used to get after my sister to post more often so I could see my cutie niece & nephew.

I thought that each post I made had to be carefully contrived, cute, and witty.

I thought each post needed cute, edited pictures of my posterity.

I have realized that, more and more, I enjoy reading blog posts that are raw and real and random.

So, that's what I'm going to post for the next little bit. Give it a whirl. See how I like it. Maybe it will help me get some things recorded that would otherwise be left to my fading memory.

Here are some big things that have kept us busy as of late:

- After over 3 months of waiting, we are finally signing on our refinance tomorrow. Hooray for lower interest!

- After 5 1/2 years with one car, the addition of 3 kids, much saving, and much searching, we finally bought a second car. It's a mini-van and, never thought I'd say it, but.........I love it!

- After 5+ years, and with lot of courage, Reid decided to leave his job at Intel and take a job with SolarWorld. He started yesterday. We are grateful for the new opportunity this job presents, and that we are able to stay here in Hillsboro. (Don't have to sell our house, don't have to leave awesome neighbors & friends, don't have to change schools - awesome).
