My new toy.

My house has been neglected this past week. It's just been too nice outside! With a few days of two rambunctious boys running around - filling their dump trucks up with toys, taking them to a different part of the house, and dumping them - I needed some help.

My "tummy" is getting quite large as of late. I step on things because I don't see them. Every shirt I wear gets a nice splatter of something near my belly button. Bending over is not an easy (or pretty) task, especially to pick up every little Hot Wheels car or plastic lizard.

I was at a friend's house, and the kids were playing with a toy version of a grabber. I remembered a post written by MeckMom that I had tucked away in my brain about a grabber of some sort that is handy for moms like me. I checked it out again and determined I needed a grabber myself! *cue angelic music*

Let me tell you, I LOVE this new toy! It makes picking up so much easier. I think I'm gonna start giving it to my friends for baby gifts. :)

If you're wondering...I got mine at Walgreens for $9.99. (It's technically called a Deluxe Gopher)

(though I think it was given as a gag gift for my mom's 50th!) haha!

  5. LOL! That is awesome! I just tell my kids they have to do it or I'm getting out a trash bag. and like magic the toys are picked up off the floor. :)

  7. Meaning as cleaning up the house is about the only exercise I get, I suppose I'd better keep bending.

  12. oh that is awesome, i'm glad you're doing something good for yourself these days. i'm this close to getting one for myself, too, but taking two kids anywhere these days just sounds like a major hassle:)

this also reminds me, that i think you, danielle and i are all due around the same time again! this time, let's coordinate and have the babies on the same day! how fun would that be?! and maybe they'll all be boys (we're still in the dark there)! and maybe we could name them all the same thing! the possibilities are endless.
