My little Jack-o-lantern


That's what I call him anyway. I know...it's a lovely term of endearment.

Lately . . .

Jack is finally able to crawl up and down the stairs. By himself. Without injury...yet.

At his 12 mo. doctor's visit, Jack's doctor said he acts and looks like an 18 mo. old. I've got to agree there.

Jack has expanded his vocabulary to include these words: "thank-you", "uh-oh", "no-no", "hi", "da-da", "ma-ma", "weeeee", "yay", and "all done".

Jack is great at giving kisses and hugs, playing pat-a-cake, giving hi-fives, and saying "ruff ruff" when asked what a dog says.

Jack loves to play cars, trains, and planes with his brother. He even makes the noises. Better than I can. Dang awesome.

Oh ya, and Jack likes to beat his big brother up - move of choice? the head-butt. I love you my Jack-o-lantern!

    So cute, and such a fun little guy. I can't believe he knows all that and he's just a couple months older than Madelyn. Gives me something to look forward to! Although I was VERY glad she learned to climb downstairs right before we moved into our house with stairs. Makes things a LOT easier. Can I guess what his Halloween costume will be?

    dude, all of a sudden you're like blog queen! you even have time to add different font colors...you are my blog world hero :) i wish i was there to see big jack, i can't even imagine him climbing up and down the stairs. it sounds like you have your hands full!
