Reid's family had a family reunion out at Lincoln City on the Oregon Coast. It's only about a 2 hr drive for us. We decided to venture out there for a night & day. Our room at the hotel was AMAZING. It had a sliding glass door that walked right out onto the beach, a full kitchen, a super comfy bed, and a huge TV. The weather was beautiful too. We mostly hung out w/ Reid's immediate family in our room - we weren't really up for introducing Jack to the whole extended family quite yet. We watched Shark Week on Discovery Channel, and played lots of Sudoku. Reid even finished one puzzle that was at the "fiendish" skill level. He was pretty proud, and we were all impressed. I, on the other hand, only finished "gentle" and "moderate." :) We hardly saw Clark, as he was continuously whisked away by his aunts & grandparents. He loved every minute of the attention. We are excited that Reid's grandma decided to have the reunion there again next year. Hopefully we'll be able to be more social then.
This is the view from our room. Reid went out w/ Clark at low tide and saw starfish, sea cucumbers, lots of barnacles, shrimp, and even a crab. Clark came in sopping wet, but he had a great time!
My boys. Clark wants the camera.
Clark still begging for the camera, which he calls the "cheese."
Jack got to relax too.

I am so jealous... I'd like to spend a week at that place!
